I am passionate about being a therapist. I love getting to know people. I knew I wanted to be a therapist after taking my first Psychology course in high school. I eagerly pursued my graduate education, so I could start my career. I have been in the field for over 20 years.
I have had a variety of experiences that, I believe, has helped me grow personally and professionally to help me to be the therapist I am today. A few examples include: mental health first responder, adolescent and adult inpatient hospitals, child protective services, foster and adoptive families, adolescents in diversion programs, trans community, intensive in home therapy. I am grateful for the privilege to work all of the people who have touched my heart.
When I’m not working, I love spending time skiing, running, reading, camping or traveling with my people. And of course, my three teen sons and my affectionate dog, Romeo, always keep me on my toes.
